Stewards1 Rulings CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville. Ky., May 6. — The stewards posted the following ruling: "Jockey Willie Shoemaker is suspended 15 days, May 8-May 22, inclusive, for gross carelessness in misjudging the point of finish while astride Gallant Man during the running of the seventh race the Kentucky Derby May 4, 1957." ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 6. — The Ascot Park stewards issued the following ruling here today: "For making a frivolous claim of foul after the fourth race on May 4, apprentice jockey Ronald Eastman is fined the sum of 0."
