SCARLET LEAF saved ground early, swung outside going to the far turn when making a bold move, assumed command into the stretch and edged away in the late yards. OKEEGAN, with the leader from the start, attempted to rally with the winner into the stretch and held on with good courage. CONSTANT REBEL was going willingly along the inside in the drive. SUMMARY moved into closer contention leaving the far turn but had no rally in the final run. REQUITAL had a mild bid before three-quarters then raced wide into the stretch and faltered. ARADAC, restrained behind the leaders, moved readily after seven furlongs and gaining command into the stretch, drew off under light urging. BLUE NITRO rallied to outfinish the others while proving no match for the winner. WAR DOINGS was punished to gain command before a mile but weakened in the drive. YON was allowed to open up a commanding lead and had nothing left for the stretch run. GYPSIES GOLD had no response to pressure. Scratched— 117044 Old Hooper, 112.
