Hart; bred by R L Lancaster . IN GATE-5:24. OFF AT 5:24 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. MORNING RAY, forwardly placed from the start, settled in the stretch with a short lead but was hard ridden to withstand P.ETRINA. The latter, outrun earlv! gradually worked way forward to the stretch, finished willingly under punishment but could not overtake the winner and just missed. NEMESIA moved up boldly approaching the stretch, was in close quarters nearing the sixteenth pole and was unable to get to the top pair. MY AFFINITY raced prominently until inside the stretch and then weakened. EASY NANCY lacked early foot and could not threaten the leaders when set down in the drive. CRYSTAL MAGIC had early foot but failed to stay. ABACUS had a rough race. LETS THINK showed little. PARAPH was never dangerous. STRUGGLE had brief speed. Attendance, 8,500 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 00,169.
