Alanesian in Sharp Six Furlongs Trial • Unbeaten Polynesian Filly Skips Distance in 1:11% On Main Track at Belmont By Stafj Correspondent BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., June 26.— Despite rain that began to fall during the final phase of training operations this morning, the main and training tracks were both fast. W. Haggin Perrys Alanesian made this abundantly clear when she skipped six furlongs in 1:11%, breaking from the gate. The unbeaten Polynesian filly, who has not yet started this year, broke swiftly, then stepped fractions of :46% and :58%. Alanesian led throughout her three impressive victories in as many starts last year and her training suggests that she is not about to have any horses in front of her in 57. - John S. Kroeses three-year-old filly Marullah went a clever seven furlongs in 1:26%. The Nasrullah miss seems ready to give a good account of herself in fast company." Traffic Judge Merely Breezes Lou P. Dohertys Traffic Judge, who is pointing for the -rich Suburban Handicap on July 4, but might accept his top impost of 126 pounds in Saturdays Roseben at seven furlongs, was hardly more than galloping against the bit as he flashed five furlongs in 1:*02. Greentree Stables Riley, another Suburban prospect, went a handy half in :48. The same stables Olive Tree indicated that he is coming along rapidly with five panels in 1:00%. A pair on the comback trail continued to show progress here this morning. Woodley Lane Farms Reneged, whose brilliant career has suffered several lengthy interruptions, went a handy six furlongs in 1 : 15 for Homer Pardue. This was his best move to date this year. Mrs. John W. Galbreaths Summer Tan, who has not started since his disappointing race in last winters Widener, flashed excellent speed as he went a half in :47% with virtually no effort. Powhatans Pocahontas, promising daughter of Roman from the brilliant How, ripped off five furlongs in 1:00%. Oveiat Aqueduct, Mr. Fitz sent Bureaucracy and Harmonizing a handy six furlongs. Bureaucracy was clocked in 1:13, beating his stablemate about three lengths. Both colts come from winning races. Mrs. Jan Burkes Dedicate, the likely topweight in the Suburban, came out with blinkers at Jamaica this morning and sped six furlongs in 1:13% in handy style. The fractions of this good trial were :48%, 1:01, while he galloped out seven panels in 1:28%.
