Terrang Gets Special Shoe For In jured Right Forefoot HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 26. — Terrangr, winner of the Argonaut Handicap but forced out of last weeks Inglewood Handicap because of an injury to his right forefoot, .has been fitted with a special shoe and is apparently in fine fettle now, according to trainer Carl Roles. "I had Frank Farell, our blacksmith fit Terrang with special spring-steel shoes in front," Roles said, "and Far-rell also put an aluminum plate under the shoe oh the bad foot." He explained that the aluminum plate covers the foot nicely, enabling the blacksmith to pack the foot first with absorbent oakum, which is iodine-soaked to prevent infection. A note of optimism regarding Ter-rangs chances of starting in the 62,-100 Hollywood Gold Cup on July 13 was obvious around the barn this morning as Terrang showed complete soundness walking around the stable tow ring.
