Evan Shipman Services Today NEW YORK, N. Y., June 26.— Funeral services for Evan Shipman, noted columnist for Daily Racing: Form, will be held Thursday morning at 10 oclock at St. James Church, Madison Avenue and 71st Street, New York City. Mr. Shipman, an internationally famed authority on thoroughbred and stand-ardbred racing and breeding, died Monday at the age of 53 after a long illness. Burial will be in the family plot at Cornish, N. H. The Shipman family has requested that in lieu of I flowers, contributions be sent to the Jockeys Guild Welfare Fund.
