Stewards Rulings ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, III., June 26. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Groom William F. Quiggins, Soc. Sec. 406-16-6714, TRPB 45054, is suspended pending his appearance before the stewards to answer to the alleged charges of being intoxicated and creating a disturbance in the stable area on • June 23." Tuesday, June 25, 1957. "For rough riding, while up on his mount, Laird Star, during the running of the sixth race Saturday, June 22, 1957. Jockey Kenneth Godkins is suspended for the balance of this meeting." WOODBINE, Etobicoke, Ontario, June 26. — The stewards here issued the , following rulings today: "Trainer Carl Chapman is fined fifty dollars 0.00 for engaging, in an altercation after the seventh race on Saturday, June 22. "Trainer John Passero is fined fifty dollars 0.00 for engaging in an altercation after the seventh race on Saturday, June 22. "Jockey Chris Rogers is suspended five days, June 28 to July 2, inclusive, for coming in and impeding Norse Lady at the three and one-half furlongs pole while astride Rare Shell in the third race on Tuesday, June 25." RIVER DOWNS, Cincinnati, Ohio, June 26. — The stewards today issued the following rulings: "Apprentice R. L. Barnett is suspended 10 racing days, June 28 to July 9, inclusive, for rough riding in the fourth race on June 25. "Jockey Charles Corolla is suspended 10 racing days, June 28 to July 9, inclusive, for rough riding in the fourth race on June 25. "Groom Bradley Jackson, TRPB.No. 105,865, is suspended for the remainer of the meeting for excessive drinking while hi the stable enclosure. During his suspension he is denied permission to enter the grounds. "Groom Scott Ward Adams, 42, of Georgetown, Ky., is denied all privileges for appearing on the grounds in an intoxicated condition. "Apprentice jockey Rene E. Mendez is suspended 10 racing days, June 28 to July 9, inclusive, for careless riding in the first race on June 25."
