Tina Dream Faces Twelve! ThistleDown Sophomores Jimmey Yancey, Double Top Foes Oyer Qne Mile of Pocono Purse By Staff Correspondent THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 26. — A field of 13, three-year-olds will meet at a flat mile in the featured Pocono Purse here Thursday with E. P. Lovelaces Tina Dream, R. Loughlins Double and M. F. Keeleys Jimmie Yancey the head-liners in a field which also - includes Zill, *Pangola, Silver Chimes, Gotta Heart, Mearsan, Fans Last, Mid Hour, Gipsy Scholar, Mr. Carlo and Swoons Dot. The last named is a half sister to both the illustrious Swoons Son and Dogoon but is still a maiden and merits little consideration in the Pocono, which is for non-winners of two under allowance conditions. Tina Dream, a filly . by Sashay Moon from Doreens Dream, has been lightly raced this season since breaking her maiden at Ascot but was second recently to fair company at this oval arid should be a factor at the mile distance. The majority of the entrants in the race are fillies and Tina Dream is pegged nicely under her 112-pound impost. Jimmie Vancey comes off a good third in a sprint race in which the Apache colt was beaten only a length and a quarter while making up ground which would indicate the Pocono would be at his correct distance. Double is scheduled to carry a 114-pound burden but must break into the feature from the also eligible list before getting a chance to strut his wares. The Grand Slam ridgeling departed from the maiden ranks in the early, part of this meeting with a victory at the five and a half furlongs distance but his capabilities -at a mile are unknown.
