She began her career last March in a Gulfstream Park three furlongs dash and was second. In April she tried the Headley Course at Keeneland, and won easily in track record time, then, on April 17, also at Keeneland, she won her second straight. Blenzie has been showing late speed. She was a nose winner here over My Carrie last week, her first victory in four starts although earlier she was a fast-closing second to Oil Queen at Balmoral. Casting, a half sister to Federal Hill, Wasnt started since finishing eighth in the Miss Chicago stakes last month at Balmoral. She has won three -of six starts. Oil Queen won her latest try at Balmoral, the second win in four starts this year. Burdetta also comes off a win at Balmoral, her fourth victory in 13 starts. Beyond makes her 1957 racing bow in the Palestinian. Last year she dead-heated with her stablemate, Princess Turia in the Acorn at Belmont, and was second in the Black Eyed Susan at Pimlico and finished fourth in the Cleopatra here won by Princess Turia. Dark Toga is looking for the first win this campaign. Royal Legion, an Argentina import, hasnt won in this country yet, but comes off an impressive third-place finish three weeks ago in a Balmoral sprint over an ;off" track. "Fighting Jury also is winless m three .1957 attempts, but a second behind Two Fisted at Balmoral three weeks ago indicates her fitness. Jodf was seventh in last weeks Cleopatra. Handicap won by Romanita. It was the Johns Joy three-year-old fillys seventh start this campaign, for which she shows a pair of allowance victories in Florida.
