RUMSON HILL worked his way up on the outside going down the backstretch and finished strongly between horses. FRENCH LEGION lacked early speed and closed a wide gap while between horses. TACTICAL moved up on the outside to make his bid going to the far turn, then gave way. BACK ROOM was blocked while making a fast move on the inside on the far turn, almost going down and gave way steadily thereafter. GAY BARON moved up to challenge while saving ground on the far turn and held on gamely, authough b°ing outrun in the last sixteenth. LUCIETE set the pace to midway in the stretch and then weakened. CLASSIC RED raced on the outside for the most part. THISTLE STAR tired. TIGER SUN ran up on horses heels on the first turn and almost went down and was never in contention thereafter.
