WHATS-THE-HURRY saved ground on the turn, came to the outside for the stretch run and under energetic handling wore down BIG N. The latter had good speed, shook off bids from WHITEYS BOY, then could not withstand the winner. WHITEYS BOY made a determined bid for the lead into the stretch, then gave way badly. BE NOBLE could not keep up. SOME BEAU failed to threaten after leaving the backstretch. G0-GE0RGE-G0 could not enter contention. MR. PLATTER and PARNO CREEK broke poorly. FIVE FORKS dropped back gradually after holding an early advantage. RAYMEL flattened out in the stretch run. UNCLE TIM shook off the early bid from SHIPS SPIRIT on the turn to draw clear, then had to be strongly handled to stave off ZEST FOR LIFE. The latter responded to brisk pressure in the stretch and was getting to the winner. REBEL COUNT broke poorly, raced along the inner rail and finished with a sharp burst of speed. FIELD OF GLORY rallied behind the winner into the stretch and closed willingly. Jockey Mercier claimed a foul against the winner for alleged interference in the early stretch which was disallowed. PANTHER GAP drew off on the turn, held a good lead into the stretch, then suddenly tired. JE SUIS ME faltered badly. GREY HAZE held a striking position from the start and tired.
