Five Hollywood Park Stakes To Close at Midnight INGLEWOOD, Calif., April 30. — Racing: secretary John Maluvius reminded horsemen today that nominations for five Hollywood Park stakes, including: three 00,000 races, close Friday night, May 1, at midnight. Tomorrow night is the deadline for nominations for three of the leading-events of the 55-day meeting which opens next Friday, May 8, the 00,000 added Californian on May 23, the 00,000 added Hollywood Derby on June 27 and the 62,000 Hollywood Gold Cup on July 11. In addition to the trio of Hundred Granders, nominations also close for the first two of Hollywoods 33 added money events. They are the 0,000 added Hollywood Premiere Handicap, which headlines the opening day card, and the 5,000 added Debonair Stakes, which will be run the first Saturday of the meet, May 9.
