Storm Hinders Chart-Caller MAUMEE DOWNS, Maumee. Ohio. April 30. — A freak rain storm came up suddenly while the horses were parading to the post in the sixth race Wednesday afternoon. The area was in utter darkness for several minutes as the rains came down, making it impossible to distinguish the colors or to time the race at th equarter and half mile poles. Only the finish of the race and the final time could be obtained.
