The latter was a factor into the stretch and weakened. SURE PROOF rallied insufficiently. BALUS BANNER was outrun. TEN SECONDS faltered. FLEET LASS stopped to a- walk after having held a clear early lead. GRAND RULER displayed speed along the backstretch and was outdistanced late.
