The latter gained a position immediately, dropped back momentarily through the early stretch, but came again to be best of the others. SEA DOG tired after moving menacingly in the early stretchf. DIE VALKYRIE survived a claim of foul lodged by the rider of SIR MODRED for allegeo interference near ng the furlong marker. N0NNIE JO moved boldly to gain command through the midstretch but was not quite good enough. SIR MODRED moved strongly along the inside to the upper stretch, altered course suddenly to the outside while lacking racing room and finished strongly. LAZY BOGAN tired from his early efforts.
