ODDS BOARD READY-TOTALIZATOR NEARLY SO ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct 5. Construction of the approximate odds board in the infield at Arlington Downs was finished Saturday, and the work of completing the new electrically-controlled totalizator, said to be the finest and most accurate machine in the country, is progressing satisfactorily. Clubhouse seats are now being installed, and the final decorating of the big grandstand is to be completed next week. The catering department, under the supervision of Ben Koppel, is being readied for the opening, and totalizator manager Joo Barris whipping his end of the program into shape. "We could start racing tomorrow," said Daniel. "Everything is set, and when all the horses reach here, among them some of the nations finest, Arlington Downs will be ready," he continued.
