LAUREL PARK TURF NOTES o and Jockey Lee Hardy was an arrival from Detroit and will be seen in silks during the present meeting. Jockey E. Litzenberger arrived from Belmont Park and joined the Maemere Farm Stable. H. G. Bedwell, who trains for A. A. Comp-ton, will race in Maryland for the balance of the season. After the Bowie meeting the stable will be sent to Santa Anita Park. Bert Michell has taken over the E. D. Shaffer horses that are being campaigned in Maryland. L. P. Harlan, who handles the Mrs. Charles S. Bromley stable, reached Pimlico with nins members of that establishment and one that races in his own interest The entire string will remain in Maryland for the rest of the meeting. A draft of the Greentree Stable horses in charge of Vincent Powers arrived over the week-end headed by the useful performers Jungle King and Sailor Beware. The Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark horses which were campaigned most of the season in New York, were unloaded and placed under shelter at Pimlico by James Healey. They will be vanned to Laurel to meet their engagements. H. J. Thompson brought the main division of the E. R. Bradley stable from Belmont Park and they joined forces with the second division in charge of William Hurley. Jockeys Silvio Coucci and J. Renick will be available to do the riding for the Kentucky sportsman.
