1 ROCKINGHAM TURF NOTES " s The elopement and marriage of Bob Ahearn, the publicity director at Rockingham, to Miss Ann Sullivan of Lowell, was announced Monday. D. J. Murphy arrived from Maryland with Transmac, Aurica, Avalier, Spero, Maple Flower, Starry Night and Goody Goody, which he is training for various owners. George Alexander unloaded fourteen head, the property of Medway Stable, nom de course of J. E. Smallman at Rockingham Park, Tuesday afternoon. Bain Marie, Tellingyou, Billy I., Mathias and Aureate are the latest additions to starter Bob Frends schooling list W. Hartman has been reported as turning down a flattering offer for the California-bred filly, Lady Bewithus. The offer was made by a sportsman on the west coast, who was anxious to have his silks carried in several of the home-bred races there this winter. Spencer Bullman, who is making the engagements for jockey Kempton Knott, is making an effort to have Bing Crosby sign up Knott for the winter season. Bullman was attached to the Crosby stable last winter. O. L. Foster will ship the string that he has been campaigning in New England all season to Arlington Downs at the close of the Salem, N. H., meeting. Apprentice C. Kamar and jockey C. E. Allen will accompany the shipment
