SELLS FOR 8,000 Sir Gallahad III., noted imported stallion standing at Arthur B. Hancocks Claiborne Stud at Paris, Ky., equalled the achievement of Man o War, Americas super horse, in the Saratoga Springs yearling sales ring this year. Each sired a colt that sold for 8,000, the highest price paid in the sales. Mrs. Ethel V. Mars, owner of Milky Way Farm Stable, was the purchaser of both.
