I RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES f The River Downs management announced that ladies will be admitted free on Mondays and Fridays for the remainder of the meeting. General manager Edward P. Strong stated that he had received many favorable comments on the posting of the pictures of the, finish of each race. The pictures are prominently displayed in the clubhouse and the grandstand for the publics inspection. I Dr. C. N. Finch, who has Pat C, Paul T., Scarp and Kitts Rival here, arrived from 1 Riverside Park, where he arranged to trans- fer the horses he has there to River Downs. H. Long checked in from Chicago with three horses. Guy Mangan, who made the engagements for Lee Hardy during the Detroit meeting, was an arrival. Broadway Jucl and Conastanto, both of which broke from outside the Bahr gate in their engagements opening day, have been placed on starter George Wingfields schooling list. Blondsure and Hour Lady, which wero the property of tho late E. E. White, will race under M. G. Whites colors. The pair will be trained by J. H. Grant.
