FUTURITY CONTESTANTS ELIGIBLE T0 START IN JOCKEY CLUB STAKES LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct 6. The first three horses to finish in the Futurity Stakes at Belmont Park last Saturday and eight of the seventeen which competed in it are among the 111 which still are eligible for the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, mile fall fixture for the two-year-olds, which will be renewed at Churchill Downs Saturday, November 7. J. H. Louchheims Pompoon, winner of the Futurity, now heads the list of nominations and though his connections wer considering retirement for the remainder of the year for the crack son of Pompey, it is still possible that he will be seen in action in the autumn stake at Churchill Downs. Privileged and Flying Cross, second and third respectively to Pompoon last Saturday, are among the Jockey Club Stakes eligibles and their performances in coming from behind in the Futurity indicates they might also fancy the mile route of the Louisville race. The others which started in the Futurity and which also are eligible for the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes are Tattered, Eli Yale, Billionaire, Sun Capture and Riparian. Among other likely two-year-old3 eligible for the stake, which carries an estimated value of 5,000, are Yellow Tulip, Foolish Moment, Apogee, Joculator, Mosawtre, Murph, Valdina and Victorian Star. The Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes is the principal feature of Churchill Downs fall meeting which opens Saturday, October 31.
