f MOUNT ROYAL TURF NOTES 4 6 Deepest sympathy is extended to Charles "Frenchy", Lanctot, well-known valet, by officials and horsemen at Mount Royal Park upon the news of the passing of his mother sudenly at her home in Montreal last week. Lanctot has been employed for many years on the Quebec circuit and formerly worked in the jockeys quarters in Ontario. Trainer H. Gallagher is shipping the home-breds Candy Feast and Raffles Problem to Long Branch. Jockey A. Prain will accompany the shipment and do the riding at that point The stable in charge of trainer Eddie Bowie, including Colored Artist and Free Lark, left Monday night for Toronto to take part in the Long Branch meeting. The extensive stable of W. C. Morris plans to ship direct from Montreal to New Orleans at the conclusion of the Mount Royal meeting. Jockey A. Bodiou will accompany the shipment and do the riding at that point
