Won driving; second and third the same. SOME BOY, closer to the early pace than usual, was cleverly rated, came around SPANISH RED in the last quarter and drew clear in the final sixteenth. BISTRITA was close up under light restraint, lost some ground swinging wide in the strelch and closed strongly. The latter worked her way up steadily, gained rapidly in the last quarter and finished strongest. COLTMAN improved his position while racing on the inside, was lucky to get through in the stretch and closed fast. LUNA BRIGHT displayed a good effort. FLAT ROCK moved up rapidly after going a half mile, took a lead before reaching the final eighth, but quit badly in the last three-sixteenths. JOSEPHINE M. quit.
