EVA R. was in close quarters in the early stages. PHALAMO had early speed. EVEN PLAY quit badly. SAILORS GIFT could not keep up and showed a dull effort. Scratched 35500Yehonala, 107. LIGHT BREEZE, lightly restrained for a half mile, came through on the inside thereafter, disposing of KIEVA GIRL after straightening out in the stretch and finished with something in reserve. BARCARDI SWEEP, slow to settle into his stride, gained rapidly in the last quarter. KIEVA GIRL was rushed into a big lead quickly, bore out leaving the back stretch, came again when straightened, but tired in the drive. THISTLE NIRA had no mishaps. OWEN MARTINEZ was allowed to drop lip out of it for three-quarters and closed with a rush. NAVY GIRL was through early.
