SEVERAL OFFERS FOR YOUNG WARREN CORNAY HOUSTON, Texas, Oct 23. Negotiations are under way for the sale of the contract that Ed McCuan, East St Louis turfman holds on apprentice Warren Cornay, New Orleans youngster, who is heading the jockey list at Epsom Downs. Offers from several prominent eastern stables are being considered by McCuan, who departed for Arlington Downs Wednesday night, but left the young reinsman here in charge of T. J. Carrol to finish out the Houston meeting. Cornay was among the leading jockeys at Dade Park prior to coming to Epsom Downs and in the event that a deal for his .contract is consummated, he will join the new. employers stable for the winter raclngi
