Donovan, secretary of the Florida Racing Commission, before leaving for Miami recently, announced that Florida would follow the recommendation of National Association of State Racing Commissioners and abolish jockeys agents this winter. Tropical Park and Hialeah Park will appoint a man to handle the assignments of jockeys for the innovation. Maxwell Howard, Dayton, Ohio, sports-1 man, was a visitor showing decided improve-i ment over his recent illness. Bill Brennan shipped six horses owned by the Greentree Stable to Pimlico from Belmont Park. They will be joined by the band now at Keeneland next Monday. Acting for W. H. Furst, Bert Williams sold to R. Whitehead the two-year-old Little Jock. The terms were private. John Kermath arrived from Maryland with several horses to race here. Jockey Albert Cooper will lose his apprentice allowance on Friday and will join the ranks of fullfledged riders, j Fred Hopkins will ship the Sage Stable to Pimlico and upon the close of the Maryland 1 season will go tq Alkjn, S,,p., for,, ffce ,jvjn-, ter. Eleven yearlings now stabled at Belmont Park, will be shipped to winter quarters some time next month, said the trainer. Charles W.
