1 SUFFOLK DOWNS TURF NOTES I $ Schooling hours at Rockingham Park will be 6:30 to 8:30 a. m. at the six furlongs chute, starting Sunday. The good handicap performer, Accolade, which has been turned out for the past ten days, has been returned to training and will be ready to race during the Rockingham Park meeting. J. Y. Christmas has altered his plans for the summer and instead of shipping his stable to Delaware Park will remain in New England throughout the season. W. R. Flemming transferred his string of seven to Rockingham Park from Suffolk Downs. Rudie, winner of the Shevlin Stakes last Saturday at Aqueduct, is one of the latest nominations to be received for the Yankee Handicap, to be run July 24 at Suffolk Downs. H. G. Bedwell, who has been ill for the i-ast several weeks, has resumed training the A. C. Compton string. Jockey George Woolf will leave Saturday for Wilmington, where he will ride through the meeting at that new track. Pharloch pulled up lame after his last race and is to be fired by Dr. Lewis and put on the shelf. Jockey Leo Fallon left for his home in Baltimore for a brief vacation before going to Delaware Park. He will return to Suffolk Downs for the second meeting, opening on July 12. Floyd West, Dallas insurance broker and owner of horses well known to New England tracks, will arrive at Suffolk Downs the middle of the week. He will be accompanied by Mrs. West. Jockeys Joe Sylvester, G. L. Miller, Bill Smith and J. R. Hill were arrivals from Beulah Park, Ohio.
