CANT WAIT improved his position when called upon, swerved when hit passing FLYING ARIEL and drew away winning with speed in reserve. FLYING. ARIEL broke fast on the outside, came over sharply and showed speed, then faltered under urging. SUNTIME responded to pressure in the stretch run and outlasted WEEPOR in the final drive.- The latter broke slowly and failed" to respond when called upon in the final eighth. MASKED KNIGHT jumped well and, close to the pace throughout, moved into the lead at the thirteenth fence and drew away, winning with speed in reserve. REBEL YELL was outrun from the start and could not menace the leaders when called upon. CANIENTO was rated along steadily, but bobbled badly at the fourteenth fence, losing its stirrup irons, made a bad landing at the fifteenth- fence and ran out of the course after taking that fence, but completed the right course within the time limit to earn third money, CRUMP fell at the thirteenth fence. CHILCA dwelt at the start but improved his position steadily, then finished stoutly on the inside. VOLDEAR was rushed into command after the break and rated along steadily, but faltered under the weight at the end. INACTIVE broke well but dropped back steadily, then made up ground slowly through the stretch run. NEVER YET was fractious at the post but had no mishaps in the running. CHERRY RIPE had no excuses. Won driving; second and third easily. WISE COUNSEL, a forward factor from the start, responded to severe pressure in the final eighth and outlasted BUCKING in the last strides. The latter came through on the inside entering the stretch, made a determined bid when called upon, but hung in the final drive. STEPHEN JAY was blocked in the early running and forced to the outside and finished with good courage. SPRING MEADOW stumbeld at the break, recovered quickly and finished gamely on the inside. CREPE showed a good effort throughout. SUN INPLAY had early speed but quit badly. MYTHICAL KING began slowly but finished well on the outside. CHAPS had no mishaps. GERMANS raced greenly. ORIENT EXPRESS moved fast on the outside, responded to severe pressure in the stretch run after racing RAINLAND into defeat and held SCROOGE safe in the final drive. The latter, away well and under restraint, responded to urging and finished well. LEARNED, away well and annoyed in the running, finished fast when straightened out in the stretch run. RAINLAND showed speed from the start while saving ground and had no mishaps. BUTTERMILK was caught in close quarters after the break. DEVILS PACE began slowly nd was outrun. ROYAL REIGH was crowded back after the break. ADVOCATOR dwelt at the start and was away poorly. Overweight learned, 2 pounds. . SIXTH RACE 7-8 MILE. Audacious, July 4, 19211:23-5126. GRANDPAS BOY, on the inside in the early running and in close quarters, faltered badly at the finish. WASTER went lame in the running and was pulled up. TREASURE SHIP wheeled at the jstart.
