KING SAXON TRAINING AGAIN Former Crack Miler Galloping Over New Del Mar Track Near San Diego, California. SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 15 King Saxon, ex-Icing of the milers and who still holds two sprint records on New York tracks, which he maC two summers ago, is back in training here. He was galloped twice around the Del Mar track this morning, and appeared in fine fettle, showing no sign of the injury to his foot. His handlers declare he soon will be ready for speed. King Saxon suffered a break to a small bone in a front foot at Santa Anita last winter, and has since been on the shelf. Young A. B. Spreckels was reported as having paid 0,000 for the horse last fall, hoping to win the Santa Anita Handicap. Two months ago Spreckels decided to quit the turf and sold the majority of his horses. He leased King Saxon to R. F. Carman, Jr., and Carman has hopes of getting his charge back in racing trim. The horse is slated for stud duty next year.
