ESCOLEE moved fast while saving ground after leaving the back stretch and, coming to the outside in the stretch, wore down JOBIOSO and won going away. BARRETTE closed ground steadily when called upon and was going gamely at the end. JOBIOSO made a strong move approaching the stretch turn and took a short lead after entering the stretch, but was not good enough. WAYALOFT tired in the stretch. GOLDEN MISSION went to the front at once and, well rated, drew away from SARSITA after entering the stretch and won handily. ROGER WITCH was never far from the pace and closed fast and gamely. LEE HIGHWAY was permitted to drop too far out of it in the early running and, although making up much ground could not reach the. leaders. SARSITA tired in the stretch. FLABBERGAST could not raise a respectable gallop. The others were never prominent. j Scratched 42662 Scholar Girl, 96. I Overweight Flabbergast, 1 pound.
