BLIND STAR, well up from the start, was saved when outrun, responded to strong urging after reaching the stretch and won easily. STAIRS worked her way forward on the outside, was. guided through the field entering the stretch and finished strongly. HIGH SANTA, hustled along from the start,, took .command nearing the final quarter, swung, wide at the stretch turn, gave way to the winner inside the final, eighth, but held on well. I. NOVOTNY, unable to improve its early position, responded well after threereignths and finished under strong urging. BARDOGA made up ground. COME HOME failed to keep up. DULCIMER, hustled along from the start, responded well in the drive and held on well. CATCH FLY, away very slowly and outrun for a half mile, moved up fast in the: drive and closed with a rush. CHANCE QUEEN improved her position rapidly after being in close quarters early, and was slightly impeded when ROSELAKE bore over when tiring in the drive. WHISKARITA had no mishaps.
