Finance, a scheduled starter in the Wolverine Handicap at Detroit Saturday, accompanied by War Emblem and Linas Son, all owned by Mrs. Emil Denemark, left here today for the Motor City by van. Jockey Sid Hebert is to go tonight. These horses, along with several others to be sent later, will be raced there under the personal direction of the new Denemark trainer, Frank Gilpin. Jockey C. Kurtsinger, also under engagement to this Chicago stable, may go to Detroit to ride in stakes on several days before the current meeting closes, all depending upon whether the local engagements of the horses in the unit remaining here are more important.
