PARALLEL, forced to race on the outside in the early racing, moved up stoutly nearing the stretch, wore SPEEDALONG down when straightened into the stretch and held REIGNING LASS safe under light pressure at the end. REIGNING LASS bettered her position on the inside and came with, good energy in the final drive. SPEEDALONG began quickly, shook off CHASTE in the first half mile, was kept in the firmer footing, but failed to stay when the real test came. SCOUT ROSE worked her way up on the outside but could not reach the leaders. IRRESOLUTE was prominent until the turn out of the back stretch, then tireB. CHASTE showed early speed. HIGH PALFFY was unable to threaten. DON GOMEZ quit. GEORGIE PORGIE unseated his rider before the sjart and ran away five-eighths. He struck the fence when going into the stable enclosure. HIGH TREASON, hustled into a contending position, followed close to the leaders on the outside, moved into a long lead entering the stretch, but tired badly in the last, sixteenth and was all out to withstand GREENOCK QUEEN. The latter, always prominent but unable to stay with the early, leaders, finished full of run during the final drive and just missed. JUSTA PLAY saved ground all the way and showed a good effort. CROP tired after going a half mile. ADAMITE raced evenly. GRAND BAKER was outrun. GOLDEN DOT was always very slow. EDDIE C. was done early. GALON BOY was left at the gate. SWIFT QUEEN took a short lead after getting away nicely, responded with good courage for the final drive and barely lasted long enough to outlast MORLUTE. The latter, racing close to the winner from tne start on the inside, fought it out stubbornly after being in tight quarters in the late stages, and a claim of foul against him was not allowed. ORBREY went in his best form to hold a contending position Irom the start and came gamely at the end. GREAT SHAKES closed with good energy after coming through on the inside in the final drive. MAGIC GIFT could not improve her position. ITSIE BITSIE, away clear and fast, showed a poox -effort and can do better. ROYAL FOLLY was pinched back at the turn out of the back stretch. KALtJDA worked her way into contention steadily and finished with a belated rush in the last three-sixteenths. FOXO was stoutly ridden all the way and showed a good effort. NO DUST, prominent until reaching the stretch, tired m the final test. VEILSTAR lacked speed early and could not threaten. LIFELIKE was never a factor. BESS TAM raced in dull fashion. The latter bettered her posi-tion on the outside and finished determinedly under a vigorous drive in the late stages. OLD STATE, forced to race on the outside from the beginning, worked his way forward gradually but could not menace the first two. MISS EPE was ridden hard all the way and had no excuses. CASINGHEAD was unable to enter into contention at any stage. MY GOODNESS was done after three-eighths. CHAUVIN broke slowly out of hand and was outrun thereafter. QUIET LASS raced in dull fashion. BABY WITT kept on the inside for three-quarters, finally was taken to the outside and came with a strong bid in the last quarter mile. UNION was sent up fast midway of the back stretch but tired in the final test. SAN RAFAEL was done after three-quarters. SPUR FLOWER raced poorly and was never a factor. MARFREE obtained racing room on the inside to reach a forward position, but was made too much use of and hung badly in the final drive. PRETTYLASS was never able to improve her position. The latter, shuffled back going to the first turn, swung to the outside when making his run and finished wearing the winner down slowly. JUSTA GAL was rushed hard all the way. DARK REVUE could not get clear after moving into the lead and tired when the final test came. HARK raced well. MR. DUNCANNON tired. LARRIGAN and NANCY MAE were always outrun.
