I LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES 2 Jockey T. Aimers reported, sick and cancelled his mounts Tuesday. Horsemen are reminded that the nominations for the Canadian-foaled and Open handicaps to be run on Saturday, June 19, at Dufferin Park, close Thursday, June 17. The homebred event carries a value of 00 and the open event, ,000. The stable of E. Bowie, Montreal, plans to ship the homebreds, Colored Artist and Leo D., to Blue Bonnets on Thursday. Condition books for the Fort Erie meeting, were, distributed among the horsemen at Long Branch today by Willie Charlton and came in for generous praise. Many of the I horses here will be shipped to the border course following the meeting at Dufferin Park. Jockeys J. Dias and A. Harris packed their tack and left for Montreal to be on hand for the Saturday opening of the Blue Bonnets meeting. When the Open Handicap failed to fill for the closing day and the homebred event, the OKeefes Handicap, received seven entries, racing secretary Galliger added 00 extra, bringing the purse to a ,200 value. Jockeys E. Burns and E. Primrose, who were given suspensions the other day, received permission to fulfill their engagements on their employers horses. Burns piloted Slim Salome for H. R.
