DAWN PLAY TO ARLINGTON Queen of Three-Year-Old Fillies Expected to Start in Matron and Classic. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, III., June 22. King Ranchs Dawn Play, queen of all she surveys in racing since she capped her victories in the Acorn Stakes and Coaching Club American Oaks with a striking triumph in last Saturdays American Derby, will now be prepped for her engagements in the Matron Handicap and Classic Stakes at Arlington Park, trainer Max Hirsch advised racing secretary Charles McLennan before leaving for the East. The dusky coated daughter of Clock Tower is in a position to add more gold and glory to her record by invading the West again for the ,000 Matron and 0,000 Classic. On Saturday, July 3, the King Ranch three-year-old will have the opportunity to add her name to those of Valenciennes, Risque and Tred Avon as the winner of the Matron, which was abandoned in 1932 and revived again this year.
