I DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTES t- i Eddie Pollard, custodian of the jockeys room at Dufferin Park, will dispatch all valets now working at Dufferin who are also employed on I." C. R. A. tracks, to Hamilton, Friday evening. Their places will be filled by substitutes for the one-day conflic-tion. George Hardy sent three thoroughbreds to Montreal for a campaign of the Quebec circuit. The trio will be trained by J. G. Fair. Jockey C. Critchfield, under contract to H. R. Bain and now plying his trade at Detroit, .will go to Hamilton to pilot tho Canadian-bred Cease Fire in the Iatters engagement in the Mclntyre and Loudon Memorial Handicap, which will feature the closing day program of that meeting. t Teddy Haslam, star member of the Dr. C. N. Mooney string, and considered about the best distance performer in training at the present time in Canada, will be shipped to Hamilton on Thursday to fill an engagement on opening day. W. Drinkwater has taken over the eight-year-old Visionary Hour to train for F. Mc-Comb. The stewards granted permission to add spurs to the equipment of Ree, which started in the third race on Monday.
