BILL TO LEGALIZE SUNDAY RACING IN ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD, 111., June 22. Under a bill , introduced in the senate last night by ator James O. Monroe, democrat, of Collins-i ville, racing on Sunday would be legalized in j this state. The bill is said to have been sug-i gested in an appeal to Governor Henry Hor-I ner by members of the racing commission to - give the idea some consideration. The governor while not committing himself defi-, nitely, is understood to disapprove of such a 1 bill.
