THORESE GIRL, well placed in the early running, was under slight restraint for the first three-quarters, came to the outside in the stretch and, finishing gamely, wore down the leaders and drew clear near the end. AMAZEMENT forced the early pace, took a short lead when straightened out in the stretch and held on gamely in the drive. SKY HAVEN broke fast, was under restraint while making the pace and tired in the closing drive. FURLED FLAG, fractious at the gate and far back early, -finished gamely. TITLE OAK tired. THE BREAK, away well, was under restraint for the first half mile, took the lead when ready, drew away into a long lead on the lower turn and was" easing up at the end. PHOTOGRAPHY, hustled into tha lead at the first turn, gave way when challenged, finished gamely and was best of the others. COHORT GIRL, away well, showed a good effort and held on well. WINSOME LASS moved up with a rush on the back stretch made a game bid entering the stretch but tired at the end. DUG IN tired badly. THE JUDGE quit. Scratched 38517 Genevieve, 102. The latter, far back in the first three-quarters, came to the outside for the drive, closed with a rush in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. SARAH JUSTICE, well placed in the early running, took the lead with a rush on the lower turn, held on well in the stretch but was tiring at the end. KRAKERJAC, well up all the way, made a game bid in the stretch but tired in the final eighth. RAGTOWN BELLE, sent into a long lead in the first half mile, tired badly in the final eighth. HAL DWYER showed a good effort. Overweight Empress Mother, 1 pound; Col. Cloister, 1.
