AZUCAR WORKS MILE DETROIT, Mich., June 22. Azucar had a drill for the Frontier Handicap when he worked a mile jn 1:44 over a slow track, and between races this afternoon. The Fred M. Alger, Jr. colorbearer, which will carry 115 pounds in the Saturday feature, was timed for the quarter in :26, half-mile in :52, and three-quarters in 1:18 handily.
