RICH CREAM was well up from the start, saved ground rounding the turn, but tired in the final eighth. GALA MOMENT had no excuses. FLY SWATTER and DRESSAGE had early speed. MISS LEANNAH, rated along in the early stages, was unable to get to the leader under urging and came wide into the stretch. BALCONY had good speed for a quarter and, although tiring near the end, was best of the others. TZIGANE was on the outside throughout. The others were outrun. MY SURPRISE moved up strongly at the final eighth but hung in the last sixteenth. MELODY MAID was unable to keep up. SUN ANTIOCH tired. EMILY JANE was under mild pressure while in close pursuit of the early pace and tired in the drive. PROXIMITY dropped back right after the start and lacked speed. FORE put PAR-MENARCH on the fence going to the first turn, annoyed the gelding again on the back stretch, then tired under urging in the stretch. PARMENARCH had a rough trip and could do no better.
