STEERING WHEEL improved his position on the outside and closed with a rush: "MISS MASCARA finished strongly. HIDDENITE tired. PANICLE was in close quarters and showed nothing. SEA GULL, a strong factor from the start, tired after offering a bold bid in the stretch. CUBAN BOY, shuffled back early, improved his position steadily when clear and finished strongly. WIGROSE, lucky to find room when improving her position, made up ground in the drive. HIGH SANTA tired. NAMEOKI raced wide early and closed strongly. STONECROP tired. GOING SOME showed nothing. LEESBURG, rushed to the front, nearly lost its rider when in close quarters at the stretch turn and gave way thereafter. SWING IT lost his rider when he collided with LEESBURG.
