I RIVERSIDE PARK TURF NOTES Jockey J. Adams, by riding the first four winners on Saturdays card at Riverside Park, crept up close to the leading rider, Billy Neal. By riding the first four winners, Adams has ridden 103 winners this year. C. Locklear, chief of starter McMillans crew, departed Saturday night for Texas, where he will dispatch fields at some of the smaller tracks there. The stables of Frank Orr, F. Smith, J. A. Dennis, W. C. Hoover, Lee Orb and C. Howell made up two express cars that left for Long-acres Sunday. By riding the first four winners on Saturdays card, jockey J. Adams increased his advantage over apprentice R. L. Vedder to thirteen mounts at Riverside Park. Adams also moved into second place in the national jockeys standing, being only two mounts behind jockey Billy Neal. Apprentice R. L. Vedder, second leading rider here and third in the national standing, left here Sunday night for Seattle.
