NOBLE SCOT crowded his opposition at the start, drew away into a safe lead, responded when called upon in the final eighth and held GERT B. safe. The latter moved up stoutly after the break, bore out rounding the turn, then finished well. SPARKLING broke alertly and lost ground rounding the turn, und faltered steadily through the stretch under urging. HIGH SHERIFF recovered from early interference and made up some ground. ROUND BEND, a forward factor throughout, raced SOBRANTE into defeat, then came again in the final drive. JESTER B. moved up fast in the final half mile, was blocked nearing the final eighth, then guided to the inside. TEAR AWAY was outrun from the start. SEA VOYAGE broke well and, raced close to the pace throughout, was bothered when LUCKY OMEN came over, took up and came to the outside. JON-JON improved his position steadily and finished well under urging. EQUERRY was rushed into command after the break, showed early speed and then quit. GREY FLUFF, in near pursuit of the early pace, faltered in the stretch run, but outlasted SUN TEA in the last strides. SUN TEA moved up with a rush after the start but hung badly in the final seventy yards. GRAMERCY did not like the going. SAVAGE BEAUTY ran in spots. NADEEN was outrun. Scratched 37660 Maequita, 111.
