I HAMILTON ONT. NQTES Mrs. R. E. Webster arrived from her home in Brockville to inspect her string of thoroughbreds which are in charge of trainer H. E. Brown. Jockey J. Judy, under contract to K. S. Cleveland, arrived from Latonia over the week-end. The management reports a healthy increase in every department Saturday over the same day last year. Many horsemen are of the opinion that the best race of the current racing season will take place when Teddy Haslam, Royal Vintage, Movieman, Cease Fire, Epicurus, Slycat and Jack Patches match strides in the Mclntyre and Loudon Memorial Handicap, which will feature the closing day program. E. Craigie has decided to turn the good homebred Osiriando out until next fall in an effort to effect a complete cure for a leg ailment. Jockey Alfred Nash has severed connections with the stable of W. Drinkwater and intends to ply his trade in Ontario throughout the summer.
