INSPECTS THISTLE DOWN DETROIT, Mich., June 28. Edward Strong, general manager of the Thistle Down Jockey Club and the River Downs Racing Association, flew to Cleveland Saturday night to inspect the Cleveland plant. Upon his return today he stated that all of the improvements are about completed and that the track proper was in an excellent condition.
