MERVIN B., much the best and away well, was hustled into command leaving the back stretch, drew clear rounding the turn and continued to widen the margin to the end. ARDA worked its way forward on the outside steadily, closed with a rush, but was unable to threaten the winner. McKELL sprinted into command at the start, gave way to the winner, then faltered in the final sixteenth. KILMOLASH closed with a rush through the final quarter mile. BUBBLING OUT raced evenly. COLORED ARTIST forced the early pace, took a slight lead rounding the turn, swung to the inside when the winner drew out and outfinished BABY PRINCESS. The latter, slow to settle in its best stride, came with a rush through the final eighth. AUTHORITY raced evenly. POLITE ANN tired. HOPE LORING had brief speed. CURLING was outrun. MINDA made up ground in the stretch and tired near the end. SHERIFF EUGENE, on the outside throughout, raced evenly. IMPRIMIS quit badly through the stretch drive. HERO OLGA was outrun. BONNIE CAIN, rated back for three-quarters came to the outside for the stretch drive, closed with good courage, but was unable to threaten the leader. HOUSE AFIRE saved ground entering the stretch in a good effort. VEE EIGHT forced the early pace, made a bold bid entering the stretch, then quit badly. MISS DONOVAN tired.
