I LAT0NIA TURF NOTES ; s : Andy Ayres, of the J. O. Keene Stable, loaded his charges Sunday for Arlington Park. The band consisted mostly of two-year-olds. The list was made up of Victor Hugo, Don Cossack, Brilliant Glow and others. Jockey Porter Roberts, the stables rider, will remain at Latonia for the balance of the season. S. McPherson announced the purchase of the three-year-old Overlap from J. R. Gregory for a private consideration. McPherson will direct the future training of the plater. H. G. Shoemaker departed for his home in Lexington and turned the following horses over to W. E. Suggs to train for the remainder of the Latonia meeting: Wise Bess, Back Fence, Albert Beck, Sailors Gift, Derby Eve and Waza Wind. Little Nymph, winner of the Enquirer Handicap, headed the division of five horses owned by Mrs. R. J. Murphy, which were taken to Arlington Park by trainer Otis Clelland. Jockey M. L. Fallon went along with the shipment. Jockey Eugenio Rodriguez, Cuban jockey attached to the stable of J. B. Respess, left for Detroit, where he will ride during the remainder of that meeting. He then goea to Thistle Down.
