Bill Crump, trainer of the division of the King Ranch Stable quartered at Latonia, reported that he has engaged jockey Porter Roberts to ride Synonym in the Latonia Oaks, which will serve as the closing day feature on Saturday, July 10. Roberta is leading the reinsmen at Latonia with a total of thirty-three victories to date.
