Regal Sun Easily Best in Third Race, With Dan Cupid and Alanfox Dead-Heating for Place Award. NEW YORK, N. Y., June 28. There came disqualification at Aqueduct today that prevented Elmer Trueman from saddling two winners for the W. S. Kilmer Stable. The third race resulted in a galloping victory for Regal Sun, which races for Mr. Kilmer, and in the fourth Lucky Omen was first home under the silks of Mrs. Kilmer, but Workman, who had the mount on each, had crossed badly with Lucky Omen, seriously fouling Mrs. Ethel D. Jacobs Sea Voyage, and for that he was disqualified and the race awarded the son of St. James. It was a day of overnight races, and when there was a heavy rainfall early in the day the track was made sloppy, but as is always the case at Aqueduct, fast time was recorded the races. The weather conditions kept the attendance down, but a goodly crowd was out. In this maiden dash that brought about the disqualification, Equerry was the one to cut out the early running, but he was closely attended by Lucky Omen, racing on the outside, and Sea Voyage racing along between the pair. It was well inside the final furlong that Workman went over with Lucky Omen and after bumping Sea Voyage badly he continued to bear in until that gelding was pinched off behind Equerry. Arcaro took up to avoid a spill, came to the outside and closed ground to finish at the heels of Lucky Omen. Then came the disqualification. By the change in the placing, Jon-Jon, from the Starmount Stable, was moved into second place, and third went to Equerry. STAR SHADOW SCORES. The best race of the day was the mile and sixteenth handicap for those of class "C" at the end of the card. This saw the silks of the Silver State Stable first and second when Star Shadow, favored in the going, led home his stablemate, Ann ORuley, by two lengths, and Challephen, from the Branncastle Farm stable, was at the heels of the mare in third place, beating Albania for third. The only other starter was Onrush. A six furlongs dash for three-year-old fillies proved easy for Dunlight, that carried the silks of "Mr. Pembroke," when she was hustled into a clear lead by Coucci to splash along in front all the way and score by half a dozen lengths. The Greentree Stables Allowance, after being slow to find her racing legs and far out of it to the stretch, closed with a rush on the outside to take second place by two lengths from Townsend B. Martins Grey Fluff, which earned a close decision for third over Sun Tea.
