PLUCKY FLIGHT made a strong move on the outside when Tcady after going a quarter and, taking command on the stretch turn, drew out easily in the stretch. SKY GAL raced forwardly and made z mild challenge " in the stretch, but was not good enough. GOLD VOLT closed ground and was going well at the finish. TEMPERAMENT also made up ground on the outside. BUNCH BOY had speed from the start, moved up gamely when ready to take command in the stretch and, going well to the finish, won handily. THE FLOWER, easily best, was slow o get going, was shut off and forced to take up while making her move ncaring the stretch turn, then came to the outside to finish fastest. SIR WAG showed a good turn of early speed and held on fairly well. SPEEDY RETURN tired in the stretch and probably needed the race. RICH DADDY tired. NUVE ALTA had speed from the start, but was in rather close quarters behind BELLES LAST and on the inside of RUSHING BY in the back stretch, then came to the outside on the far. turn to get to the front in the stretch and had enough left to hold EDGAR BOY safe. The latter lacked early speed, but got through openings while saving ground to reach a contending position on the stretch turn , and finished strongest. REDROCK CANYON displayed more early speed than usual and, getting through an opening on the inside on the far turn, took a good lead to save ground in the stretch and, going well to the finish, held WARALII to a dead heat. WARALII moved up very fast on the outside after leaving the back stretch and, going strongly to the end, finished on equal terms with REDROCK CANYON. FRANK O. was rated close-to the pace in the early part, but tired in the stretch. NO RECALL closed much ground. SITTING BULL raced wide. BELLOS made a strong move after going a half mile, but hung in the final drive. HADNOGAL tired. BYRDFORD quit. EAGLE CREST was shuffled back at the start. MORAL VICTORY, rushed into a long lead in the first quarter, held his advantage to the stretch and, under good raiing through the final eighth, lasted to win easily. PATROLITE raced strongly to the stretch, then came to the inside at the eighth post and was closing on the winner in the final strides. ILLEANNA, slow to get going, closed with good courage, getting up just in time to take the show from SUSI Q. The latter, closest to the winner for the first half mile, raced slightly wide in the stretch while tiring. STEEL WORKER displayed good speed early, but tired in the run home. BOULEVARD raced to the front at the break, set all her own pace to midway of the stretchy then had to be put to a hard drive in the final sixteenth and just lasted to finish in a dead heat with OUR GROLYNE. The latter, never far from the pacemakers, closed strongly in the final eighth and got up in time to finish on even terms with BOULEVARD. GALLACLAY, always a forward factor, finished gamely in the run home. SIR RIDGWAY forced the pace to midway of the stretch, then had to take up slightly for lack of racing room when crowded and had no chance thereafter. PARTY SPIRIT and KUMREIGH were always outpaced.
